YaleGALE Resources – what, why, and who

The Resources in this part of the YaleGALE website provide both background and in-depth information about alumni engagement at Yale – primarily from the perspective of Yale alumni volunteers.

Stained Glass Window in Linsley Chittenden Hall, Yale University. Commissioned from Louis Comfort Tiffany and Titled “Education”, it contains many allegorical figures.

YaleGALE engages in alumni leadership exchanges with leading world universities – and these materials are intended to both support and supplement those exchanges.  Some participants may use these materials to prepare for a YaleGALE exchange.  Others may use them to supplement what was learned at the exchange itself.

Almost all of the members of a YaleGALE delegation are alumni volunteers for Yale – not administrators, faculty or staff. As volunteers, they have given much of their time and their talent, and yes – of their treasure. They are representative of the thousands of Yale alumni throughout the world who give the gifts of their time to plan, organize, and conduct programs for other alumni. They have paid their own way (with their own money) to be a part of a YaleGALE delegation – and they have written these materials.
