February 28, 2018: Parties galore with Feb Club in Central PA. This year we held 4 events in 4 cities.
The first event was in Lancaster on Feb. at the Hamilton Club. Quite posh! About fifteen of our members enjoyed the drinks and heavy hors d’oeuvres. Thanks to Trexler Proffitt ’89 and Henry Yaeger ’99 MBA for hosting – especially Henry, a member of the Hamilton Club for enabling the venue.
Next up was in Lebanon at the Bluebird Inn on Tuesday, Feb 13. Mardi Gras was in full swing with a live band – but no parades! It was a great time for the locals to catch up. Thanks again to Bob Hoffman ’68, ’73 M.Arch for hosting with Ben Slotznick ’70, ’73 Dra.
The last week of February brought a couple more events. Ten folks attended the by-now annual Feb Club brunch in the elegant Circular Dining Room of the Hotel Hershey. It was a pleasant Saturday, and though Feb. 24 felt like spring was almost at hand. The event was hosted by Jennifer Mascola ’98 MPPM and Rebecca Vollmer ’92.
The month ended on Feb. 28, with nine alumni toasting Yale at historic Duffy’s Tavern in Boalsburg (near State College). A new venue for the Feb Club and quite charming. Thanks to Roger Herman ’63 PhD and his wife Nikki for hosting. (And thanks to Rebecca Vollmer ’92 for helping make arrangements.)
